We all know that warm and fuzzy feeling when looking at our pet, may it be dogs, cats, hamsters, fishes, birds. Why not have their cute face illustrated to accompany you forever? Each and every pet will be hand-drawn with premium colored pencils onto your choice of heavyweight acid-free paper.
Each frameless portrait comes with a cardboard backing to avoid creasing during shipment.
Measurement: 2.125" x 3.375"
Paper Options:
French Heavyweight (224 gsm) - This is a natural white paper with a texturized touch. The resulting portrait is richer in color and has a coarse visual texture.
Cotton Heavyweight (250 gsm) - This is a cream-white paper and is smooth to the touch. The resulting portrait is softer in color and has a silky visual texture.
Turnaround time:
Production generally takes about 3 business days. Standard domestic shipping within the US takes about 3-5 business days.
Steps:
1. Place your order
2. Message us via Etsy or to our email veraostudio@gmail.com with a couple of your pet’s photos (see photo guide below)
3. We begin creating the portrait
4. Before mailing out the portrait, we will send it over for your confirmation (we allow 1 revision if you are not completely satisfied). To ensure on-time delivery, if we do not hear back from you within 2 business days after our confirmation message, it will be shipped out to the address on your invoice as scheduled.
Photo quality and recommendation:
In order for us to capture the essence of your pet, please provide us with multiple high-quality photos with good lighting and light background. You may specify a specific photo where you want the drawing to be based, we just need other pictures for references, such as how the fur shows under different lighting. We recommend removing your pet's collar.
Modification:
Your pet will be simplified to match our illustration style. We might make slight modifications in colors and postures to achieve a more harmonious drawing.
Revision:
We always try out best in creating a portrait we see best before sending it out for your confirmation. In case you are not fully satisfied, we do allow one revision to make small changes. Please note that no two paintings are the same, the revision will be a redrawn version with your requested modifications.
