The Silly Love wax seal stamp is part of our latest Folklore Collection. It is inspired by Oscar Wilde’s famous short story - the Nightingale and the Rose. Although a tragically romantic story, it gives us a different perspective of what love is and can be. After being refused by the daughter of the Professor even after he managed to bring her the red rose she asked for, unknowing of the sacrifice of the Nightingale, he threw away the rose with a broken heart and swore to stay away from love and put his mind and soul back in Philosophy.
