The rolling of balls and life coming out from the balls thus signifies rebirth and regeneration. It is interesting to find that winged scarab artifacts are specifically popular among funerary amulets because it is believed that the wings will ensure the rebirth of the deceased and a smooth transition into the afterlife.
Although death is usually quite far from our daily lives, we think that humans can experience multiple spiritual deaths and rebirths in our lifetimes. It is essential for any major personal growth. Conceptually speaking, we can all be pushing our baggage and worries, until one day we learn to take nutrition out of it, fueling our rebirth into a better self.
